Community Gardens
We are accepting reservations for our Community Gardens! Fulton County Cooperative Extension manages three gardens throughout the county. Community members are invited to rent a bed or beds in our space for their gardening project(s).
Bed rentals are for one year. New gardeners who wish to use a garden bed plot shall pay a non-refundable fee for the garden year. The assignment of beds is on a "first-come, first-served basis" and is additionally based on availability.
Thank you so much to our hard-working Fulton County Master Gardener Extension Volunteers and other community members who maintain and help manage these gardens.

Overview of Fulton County Garden Rules
- Each gardener is responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of their garden plot. Watering, weeding, harvesting, and any other garden-related maintenance is the responsibility of the gardener. Gardeners may arrange for other gardeners to water their plots.
- Tools will be made available for use during the regularly scheduled work time each week. A limited amount of equipment (tools and hoses) will be available in the GROWL garden storage bin for use during non-scheduled garden work hours. Regularly scheduled work times will be posted on the garden bulletin board.
- Each gardener will be given the code to the storage bin for access to tools and watering equipment. Gardeners are responsible for bringing the code each time they work in the garden. Keep storage bins locked at all times and return all tools.
- Children are welcome in the garden but must be accompanied by an adult, and must be supervised at all times.
- Each gardener must complete a liability waiver form before any work in the garden can begin.
- Garden plots should be cared for at least once a week. It is the gardener's responsibility to notify the coordinator if he or she is not able to care for their plot in any given week. If any plot remains unattended for more than three weeks, that plot is subject to reassignment.
- The application of herbicides (weed killers) to the garden plots is prohibited.
- Plot fees are due in full before the garden season begins.
- Gardeners may harvest vegetables and flowers from their garden(s) only.
- At the end of the garden season, gardeners are responsible for clearing their plots of all plant material.
- Community gardeners and Fulton County Master Gardener Extension Volunteers are responsible for ensuring that the rules are followed at all times.
