Healthy Eating/Garden Delights

Healthy Eating 

We help consumers make confident and informed food selection choices regarding food preparation, nutrition and food quality.

The UGA Extension Henry County office has developed our Garden Delights video series to further promote our commitment to "Healthy Eating".

This video series showcases a fruit or vegetable each month accompanied with a healthy recipe and a cooking demonstration with Susan Howington, Cooperative Extension CEC. Also included are helpful tips on how to grow the featured fruit/vegetable of the month with Frank Hancock, Cooperative Extension ANR Agent. This series is also available daily on Charter Channel 180 and AT&T Uverse Channel 99.
