Effective February 2008, Georgia will require each food service establishment to employ one manager who has passed a food safety exam accredited by the Conference for Food Protection (CFP). UGA Extension has joined forces with the Georgia Restaurant Association to provide Georgia's food service industry with the best in food safety training. We have 33 county-based educators who teach ServSafe® workshops throughout the state. The extension has been offering ServSafe® manager and employee certification programs throughout the state since 1997.
