County Council

County Council allows students in grades 6-12 to play an active role in their 4-H program and their community. Each month members will learn life skills and/or help with community service projects to develop responsibility and leadership skills.  County Council is composed of a County Board elected by the members of the club. They will help decide what County Council meetings will be for the year as well as start club meetings. Staff are there to lead activities and supervise youth each meeting.

  • Meet once a month on Wednesdays from 6pm-7:30pm at the Extension Office
  • First meeting is September 16th. Please bring canned good items to donate!
  • Free club to join as members are expected to help with community service items as needed.

For more information, please contact Erin Gilroy at Erin.Gilroy@uga.edu.
