Introduction to Farm Food Safety Practices

April 18 - 9:00 am – 3:30 pm

This one-day course is an introduction to good agricultural practices. Small-scale fruit and vegetable growers will learn skills necessary to draft a food safety plan, identify safety concerns, and build knowledge on certifications and resources. We request participants bring a laptop or tablet that has a USB port. The location is the UGA Extension Henry County Office, 97 Lake Dow Road, McDonough, GA 30252, Conference Room A.
