Raise money to pay for camp fees by participating in Richmond County 4-H's fundraisers: Country Meat Sticks and Vidalia Onions.

2022 Camp Scholarship Applications may be submitted to the Richmond County 4-H Office by April 1, 2022. Email completed applications to uge3245f@uga.edu or mail to 602 Greene Street, Augusta, GA 30901.

CLOVERLEAF CAMP AT FORTSON 4-H CENTER

June 20-24, 2022

Camp application

For 4-H'ers currently enrolled in 4th-6th Grades

Fortson 4-H Center, located near Hampton, Georgia, has 77 acres of forest, field, pond, and wetlands! Summer Camp at Fortson is filled with fun on-site outdoor activities, such as, swimming, zip-lining, hiking, climbing walls, and canoeing. Plus, there is a tentative field trip planned to visit White Water. The cost of camp includes lodging, food, transportation, insurance, a 4-H camp t-shirt, and all activities listed in the camp itinerary.

JUNIOR CAMP AT JEKYLL 4-H CENTER

June 6-10, 2022

For current 7th and 8th graders, only

Includes: lodging, meals, transportation, 4-H camp t-shirt, on-site beach and marsh activities; such as biking, hiking, canoeing, seining, sand sculpting, and catching fiddler crabs, and off-site field trips to Summer Waves Water Park and Tidelands Nature Center, plus a boat tour.

 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 

Wilderness_Challenge

WILDERNESS CHALLENGE CAMP

at Wahsega 4-H Center

June 20-24, 2022 or July 4-8, 2022

For current *6th-8th Graders

Includes: lodging, meals, transportation, canopy zip-lining, whitewater rafting, hiking, outdoor sports, wall-climbing, and more!

 
*6th graders must be 12 years old by the date of the rafting trip, June 23, 2022 for week one of WCC or July 7, 2022 for week two of WCC.
All participants, adults and campers, must complete the waiver forms from Raft One for rafting and from Unicoi for ziplining. Unicoi requires participants to be at least 50 lbs.

SENIOR EXTREME CAMP AT ROCK EAGLE 4-H CENTER

June 6-10, 2022 or June 13-17, 2022

For current 9th-12th Graders

Includes: lodging, meals, transportation, on-site and various off-site outdoor adventures and tent camping. Senior EXTREME Camp is a more primitive camping experience, providing for tent camping, preparation of campers’ own meals, and a focus on outdoor recreational activities, among its activities.

 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 

SENIOR CAMP AT ROCK EAGLE 4-H CENTER

July 4-8, 2022

For current 9th-12th Graders

Includes: lodging, meals, transportation, on-site activities and a Fourth of July picnic with FIREWORKS!

Senior Camp activities provide learning experiences in all of Georgia 4-H’s focus areas – Healthy Living, Agriculture and STEM, and Civic Engagement. Senior Camp activities also promote the development of leadership skills and encourage community service, all in a fun and active camping environment.
