Summer Camps

Camp Registration opens in early 2024

Ways to help pay for summer camp fees:

Participate in Richmond County 4-H's fundraisers, selling Country Meat Sticks and Vidalia Onions, to earn credits that may be used towards this year's camp costs.

Complete and submit a summer camp scholarship application. The 2024 scholarship applications will be posted in early 2024.


Online registration portal now accepts major credit cards as payment for camp!

Jekyll Island 4-H Center

July 1 - July 5, 2024

For 4-H'ers currently enrolled in 4th, 5th, or 6th grade during the 2023-2024 school year.


JUNIOR CAMP 2024

Burton 4-H Center on Tybee Island

June 3 - 7, 2024

For 4-H'ers currently enrolled in 7th or 8th grade during the 2023-2024 school year.

SENIOR EXTREME CAMP AT ROCK EAGLE 4-H CENTER

Week 1 Option: June 3 - 7, 2024

Week 2 Option: June 10 - 14, 2024

For 4-H'ers currently enrolled in 9th, 10th, 11th, or 12th grade during the 2023-2024 school year.

Includes: lodging, meals, transportation, on-site and various off-site outdoor adventures and tent camping. Senior EXTREME Camp is a more primitive camping experience, providing for tent camping, preparation of campers’ own meals, and a focus on outdoor recreational activities, among its activities.

 


SENIOR CAMP AT WAHSEGA 4-H CENTER

Week 1 Option: June 24 - 28, 2024

Week 2 Option: July 1 - 5, 2024

For 4-H'ers currently enrolled in 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th grade during the 2023-2024 school year.

Includes: lodging, meals, transportation and on-site activities.

Senior Camp activities provide learning experiences in all of Georgia 4-H’s focus areas – Healthy Living, Agriculture and STEM, and Civic Engagement. Senior Camp activities also promote the development of leadership skills and encourage community service, all in a fun and active camping environment.
