Ways to get involved with Richmond County 4-H:
Enroll in Richmond County 4-H with the online submission link shown below or submit an enrollment form to Richmond County 4-H. Email completed forms to uge3245f@uga.edu or deliver to Richmond County 4-H, 602 Greene Street, Augusta, GA 30901.

Apply now to serve as a 4-H Volunteer with Richmond County 4-H!
Requirements:
Adult volunteers must be at least 18 years old.
Volunteers working with youth must complete a volunteer application online, supply 3 non-related references, pass a background check, complete an Adult Code of Conduct agreement and complete the online training, Georgia 4-H: Working with Youth & Managing Risk.
Volunteer drivers must pass a Motor Vehicle screening (included in volunteer application).

Students prepare to enter the real world as smart adult consumers by focusing on five key topic areas: consumer rights and responsibilities, the environment, health and safety, personal finance, and technology.

Dec 14 - Dec 16 Fall Forum Fall Forum is a recreational and educational opportunity planned for Seniors 4-H’ers (9th-12th grades). The weekend includes a mix of workshops and education sessions, along with opportunities for community service and exhibits, all planned by and led by 4-H’ers. Recreational programs for 4-H’ers are included to allow 4-H’ers to interact with youth from all over Georgia. In addition, training and educational opportunities are also offered for 4-H volunteers during the weekend.

Dec 17 Richmond County 4-H County Council Field Trip Middle and High School students are invited to attend and parents can join too! Participants will meet at the Richmond County Extension Office to travel to local nursing homes to sing Christmas Carols, then grab a bite to eat at a local fast food restaurant and go to Evans Towne Center too see the Christmas light sculptures and to ice skate! Please wear a Santa Hat. $7.00 registration is due by December 13. The registration fee covers the cost to ice skate. Participants should plan to bring spending money for your dinner and any concession items. Parents planning to drop off and pick up students, should plan to drop off at 5pm at Richmond County Extension Office, then pick up at 9pm at Evans Town Center Park.

County Council is open to 6th through 12th grade students in Richmond County who are interested in engaging activities, leadership experiences, and community service opportunities. No fee required.
