Hippology
What is Hippology?
Hippology is the study of a horse. Team members acquire knowledge of equine science, husbandry and management issues. They also become critical thinkers through resolution of common management issues as they relate to the equine business. In Hippology we blend equine science and husbandry with horse judging and public speaking into one activity through which participants can apply their acquired knowledge and skill. Through Hippology participants develop knowledge and respect for the equine industry, issues specific to that industry, and its importance to the community, state and national economy.
