Shotgun Team
What is the Shotgun Team?
The Shotgun program enhances youth development of self-concept, character and personal growth through safe and educational involvement in shooting activities by teaching safe & responsible use of equipment including sound decision-making, self-discipline and concentration. It promotes the highest standards of safety, sportsmanship, ethical behavior and complements the impact of existing safety, shooting and hunter education programs using hands-on educational methods and progressive development of skills & abilities.
Who Can Participate?
- The Shotgun Team is open to 7th - 12th grade
Practice and Competition
- Practices weekly on Saturdays (February through May)
- Competes at District match in April
- Competes in State match in May
