.22 Rimfire Team

What is the 22 Rimfire Team?

The 22 Rimfire program enhances youth development of self-concept, character and personal growth through safe and educational involvement in shooting activities by teaching safe & responsible use of equipment including sound decision-making, self-discipline and concentration. It promotes the highest standards of safety, sportsmanship, ethical behavior and complements the impact of existing safety, shooting and hunter education programs using hands-on educational methods and progressive development of skills & abilities.  

Who Can Participate?

  • The 22 Rimfire Team is open to 9th - 12th grade (One year of BB Required)

Practice and Competition

  • Practices weekly (October through May)
  • Competes at State Silhouette match (March/April)
  • Competes at State Rifle contest (March/April)
