Project GROW Materials
Project GROW began as a collaboration with the Veterans Affairs Atlanta medical team and the Georgia Master Gardener Program to provide programming for veterans on the basics of growing food. More details about how the project developed are in this Trellis blog post.
The collab resulted in a curriculum that is adaptable and useful for many programs. It offers a series of seasonal gardening lessons all planned out for use with a wide range of clients (not just veterans). It can also be used in a virtual setting or in person, however it fits best with the programming goal. The six modules modules includes lessons, fully scripted presentations, hands-on demonstrations, and links to supporting Extension publications. The full curriculum (720 pages) is available for purchase as a printed publication. Digital resources will be made avaialable at a later date.
