2022 Extension Master Gardener National Coordinators’ Conference

General Overview of Events

It helps to understand when you need to be where so that you can make the most of your travel arrangements! The schedule is such that you can travel on Monday, catch up with folks you haven’t seen in a while at Monday’s reception, enjoy a great dinner, and prepare for a terrific conference starting on Tuesday. Plan to come early or stay late to see all that Savannah has to offer!

  • Extension Master Gardener National Committee Meeting, 10 am – 2 pm
  • Welcome Reception, 5-7 pm

Tuesday, September 20, 2022

  • Conference sessions start at 9 am

Wednesday, September 21, 2022

  • Conference sessions start at 9 am

Thursday, September 22, 2022

  • Conference sessions conclude at 12 pm

Registration links will be posted here when available. Though the conference is planned as an in-person event, there will be a virtual option for those who are not able to join us. Check back for additional information. 


Getting to Savannah

Savannah, Georgia, is easily accessed by interstate (intersection of I-95 and I-16) and air travel. If you are adventurous, you just might arrive by boat!

Conference Location

Our day sessions will be held at the Coastal Georgia Botanical Gardens. We have an assortment of indoor meeting spaces for large and small group work. If you need a break from conference intensity, you can easily take a stroll through the many spaces of the CGBGs.

Lodging

The conference hotel is located in downtown historic Savannah. You’ll have plenty of opportunities to explore, dine, and take it all in! Check back for additional information.

There is so much to see and do while in Savannah. Be sure to create your list! Conference tours and activities are planned, but you may wish to come early or stay after the conference to do a few more things! Browse the Visit Savannah site to start your research and planning.
