Summer Overnight Camps

Georgia 4-H offers five-day, four-night summer camps for 4-H’ers of all ages. These camps take place at one of the 4-H Centers in Georgia and provide many fun and exciting activities. Starting in 7th grade, 4-H’ers must be deemed active in order to attend camp. Each camp has a different experience for an entire week of adventures and new opportunities from zip lines and canoeing to trips to Stone Mountain and the beach.

Georgia's 4-H summer camping program, administered through the county offices of UGA Cooperative Extension, offers a 4-H summer camping experience unparalleled in the nation. Every camp offers great adventure, friendship, and fun. If you love an outdoor adventure with lots of swimming, archery, hiking, and hands-on learning about nature then 4-H Camp is for you.

Summer 2025 4-H Camp Dates

Cloverleaf Campers (4th-6th graders in the 2024-2025 school year) will head to Wahsega from July 7-11, Learn more.  

Junior Camp (7th-8th graders in the 2024-2025 school year) will be held at Fortson 4-H Center from June 2-6, (Youth must be an ACTIVE 4-H'er to attend), Learn more.

Senior Camp (9th-12th grade in the 2024-2025 school year) will be at Jekyll Island 4-H Center from June 30-July 4. (Youth must be an ACTIVE 4-H'er to attend), Learn more.

Senior Natural Resources Camp (9th-12th grade in the 2024-2025 school year) will be at Rock Eagle 4-H Center from July 7-11. (Youth must be an ACTIVE 4-H'er to attend), Learn more.

Marine Resources Camp will be held at Burton 4-H Center for active 7th-8th grade youth from June 9-13.

Wilderness Challenge Camp is held at Wahsega 4-H Center for 7th-8th grade youth. Dates June 23-27.  (Youth must be an ACTIVE 4-H'er to attend) Learn more.
