Attention birders- experienced and beginners alike!

Have you heard of the Great Backyard Bird Count? Every year in February bird watchers are invited to count birds for 15 minutes and submit what they see online. Curious about how to get started?

Forsyth County Extension and Master Naturalists will be teaching the Basics of Backyard Birding at Hampton Park Library on February 15th from 10:30-11:30am. We will cover basic ideas of bird identification, discuss helpful resources, and end with some time outdoors practicing what we just learned!
