LifeSmarts (6th-12th grade)

LifeSmart team memebers answering trivia questions about one of the 5 main topics

Calling all 6th – 12th graders! Do you enjoy trivia? Are you interested in making smart consumer choices, or learning real-life skills like budgeting, online safety, and health? Come join our new LifeSmarts Team!

The main goal of the LifeSmarts program is to create consumer savvy young people who will be well equipped for adult life in today’s complex, global marketplace. Participants focus on five key topic areas: consumer rights and responsibilities, the environment, health and safety, personal finance, and technology/workforce preparation. There are opportunities for teams to earn $100 while preparing for LifeSmarts through monthly TeamSmarts quizzes, scholarship opportunities, LifeSmarts Nationals Wild Card bids, and much more! The sky is the limit with LifeSmarts!

We will be meeting for practices at the Forsyth County 4-H Office on Piney Grove Rd. where students will learn how they can compete in this fast-paced program while building their knowledge of these important topics. No prior experience needed—just curiosity and a willingness to learn!

Interested in next year's program? The best way to know what is happening in Forsyth County 4-H is to subscribe to our newsletter, The Flash. You can also contact: forsythcounty4h@uga.edu, or visit the LifeSmarts website.
