ANR Youth Summer Programs
GARDEN FUN DAYS!
Come join us as we explore the education garden and create fun crafts with two different themes. Sign up early!
Cost: $10 per child
Ages: 7-9
Location: Fayette County Extension Office, Suite 210
Times: 10am-4pm
Spots Available: Space is limited to 15 children per day.
Notes: Must bring a sack lunch, water bottle, and snack. All activities will be outside (weather permitting). Please dress your child for outside and craft (paint/glue) activities.
July 26th: During this Garden Fun Day, you will learn all about ornamental plants. Activities include going on a plant scavenger hunt, making a tree ID book, learning about flowers and fruits, making a fairy/gnome garden, and other nature crafts.
June 21st or July 19th : During this Garden Fun Day, you will explore all about wildlife. Activities include designing a bird house, making bird feeders, learning about native bees and honeybees, going on an insect scavenger hunt, and other nature crafts.
Register in person in the Extension office.

YOUTH POLLINATOR CAMP (FULL)
Over the course of 3 days, you will learn all about different pollinators through garden exploration, hands-on activities and fun crafts. Some activities include, creating a native bee hotel, creating a mini meadow, seeing different caterpillars and butterflies, becoming a honey taste tester, and so much more!
Date: July 16-July 18, 2024
Cost: $20 per child
Ages: 9-11
