Project S.A.F.E. (Archery Club)

Georgia 4-H Project SAFE uses the shooting sports to teach many valuable life skills. Project SAFE (Shooting Awareness, Fun and Education) provides youth a place to develop a sense of belonging, learn teamwork in a safe environment and increase concentration skills. Safety and the responsible use of firearms and archery equipment is a primary goal. Trained volunteers lead clubs in BB, Air rifle, Air Pistol, 22 Rifle, Shotgun and Archery in over 110 counties.

The Fayette County Extension 4-H program offers the SAFE Archery program at this location.

ARCHERY SCHOLARSHIPS

The GA 4-H Project SAFE is offering three (3) scholarships!
Youth may apply for scholarships in archery.
Information on GA 4-H Foundation Achievement Scholarships can be found HERE.
Applicants need to have a signed and dated recommendation letter from a 4-H County Extension Staff Member. These recommendation letters can be sent electronically to ryanrose@uga.edu or via mail to:

SPRING ARCHERY / JANUARY 2025

When: Every Wednesday beginning January 29th, 2025 thru April 30th, 2025.
Time: 3:00 - 5:00 pm
Grades: 4-12
Cost: $50 (Must have your own compound bow to participate in competitions.)
Spots Available: 50

Fayette County Parks & Recreation Kiwanis Center
980 Redwine Rd.
Fayetteville, GA 30215. 
(When weather permits, practices will move outdoors to the soccer field. These outdoor practices will be from 3:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.)
