In-School Science Enrichment Program
What can we do for your school?
Fayette County 4-H conducts monthly science enrichment programs in many elementary schools in Fayette County. These lessons can be scheduled on an individual basis or on a yearly basis according to your school’s schedule. Contact us to schedule any of the bellow lessons for your class at no charge.
4th and 5th Grade Science Enrichment Lessons
Solar System Distance Activity (4-H Curriculum) Objective: To create a hands-on model demonstrating the scale distances of the Solar System using astronomical units that has been converted into a 10 centimeter scale.
The Incredible Journey (Project WET) Objective: Describe the movements and states of water within the water cycle
Oh Deer! (Project WILD) Objective: Demonstrate how living things need food, water and shelter to thrive in an environment, and the importance of balancing available resources with population needs.
