Fayette County 4-H offers many different clubs and activities! There is something for everybody in Fayette County 4-H. The activities listed below are not an all-inclusive list! We are always updating our clubs and activities based on youth interest and the number of staff and volunteers. If you have any questions about additional offerings, please feel free to call or email the office. You can also follow us on social media to see up to date program offerings!

ANNUAL 4-H SPRING FLING! (Grades 4-12)

Join us for our Annual 4-H Spring Fling at the Tyrone Parks and Recreation facilities!

Dance under the lights with your family and friends as this is an all-ages event! Light refreshments and hors d’oeuvres will be served. Our annual dance is open to the public, however, if you are an adult, you must have a child in attendance to be able to attend this event. Parents, grandparents, and family members are welcome. This Annual Spring Fling serves as a fundraiser for our Archery Club as well as helps send our 4-H youth to district and state events at a reduced cost.

Attire is "Sunday Best"! Our color theme this year is pastels.

Date: Saturday, April 4, 2026

Time: 6p.m. –9:00 p.m.

Location: Tyrone Parks and Recreation Gym, 145 Commerce Drive, Tyrone, GA 30290

NATURE BOOK CLUB (Grades 2 - 4)

This 8-week program is designed to allow children the opportunity to learn about different aspects of nature and then turn what they've learned into their own book! Each week will focus on a different nature-related topic and will include the reading of a story along with a fun, educational activity. Additionally, the group as a whole will get the opportunity to create their own nature book with each child working on their own page(s) throughout the program. At the end of the 8 weeks, the pages will be collected and sent off to be professionally printed. Families will get the opportunity to purchase a copy of the finished book at the end of the program.

Date: Every Tuesday from March 3rd – April 28th

Time: 3:00pm – 4:00pm

Location: Fayette County Library

Cost: Free ; Estimated Book Cost is $25-30.

COUNTY COUNCIL (Grades 4-12)

Join us for a club night and dive into all things science! Learn to candle eggs, to identify insects and trees, animals by sound/scat/bones/tracks, and enjoy chicken nuggets after you grade them! This is a night to learn all about our 4-H Judging teams in a fun, hands-on way.

Your participation will look great on college and scholarship applications, resumes, and your District Project Achievement (DPA) portfolios!
