Objectives

  • Learn and understand standards used in poultry and egg production and marketing, and to apply the standards in a realistic decision-making situation.
  • Develop the techniques of logical, accurate decision making, learn to recognize reasons for decisions, and develop the ability to express reasons orally, and acquire the skills of decision making, critical thinking, and problem solving.
  • Develop leadership abilities, build character, assume citizenship responsibilities, and develop skills, knowledge, and attitudes for lifelong use.
