WHAT ARE THE OBJECTIVES OF DAIRY JUDGING?  

Dairy Judging teaches your 4-H'er a vast knowledge about dairy cattle.  They also develop skills in identifying types and grades of livestock while learning the basic principles of animal science. Members of the Dairy Judging team learn to identify breeds and classes of dairy animals to help improve production on the farm and develop skills that contribute to profitable, efficient farming.

GRADES:  4 - 12

TIME: 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm

PRACTICE DATES: March 4, March 11, March 25, April 1, April 8, April 15 (April 16 and April 17 if needed)
