  • Jan 14 - Jan 16 4-H New Year Showdown Horse Show New year, new 4-H horse opportunities! 4-H New Year Showdown will take place January 14-16, 2022 rain or shine and begin at 9 am each day of show. Come practice before State Show or come see what 4-H horse project is all about! (You do not have to be a current 4-H member to participate.) Register online or contact crbenn@uga.edu for a paper registration form. Age Divisions: Cloverleaf (4-6th grades), Novice (7-12th grades), Junior (7-8th grades) and Senior (9-12th grades) Show Fees: Pay class fees and show fees as laid out in registration OR enjoy the Flat Rate Show Fee! Cloverleaf/Novice Entire Show Fee: $125 and Junior/Senior Entire Show Fee: $225 *Use the flat rate fee to get the best deal! This is also a great chance to try something new and really go for it since it covers all classes in the division!*

  • Jan 15 Early County 4-H Indoor Archery Fundraiser Tournament All 4-H’ers are welcome to come and compete at the Early County indoor fundraising tournament. It is a great chance to get in a practice competition before the State Indoor Match in Perry the following weekend. The cost is $20.00 for entry. The date is January 15th at the Early County Middle School Gym. Classes are Cloverleaf (4th-6th grade), Junior (7th-8th grade), Senior (9th-12th grade), and Adult (18+). Divisions are Novice, Recurve, and Compound. Session times are 9:00AM, 11:30AM, and 1:30PM. Contact information for registration is Jessica Moseley, the Early County 4-H agent.
