Camden County 4-H serves youth in grades 5-12 by providing safe environments to experience hands-on learning. By providing opportunities for independence, exploration, and discovery, we help youth cultivate the generosity and leadership skills they need to reach their full potential.

We deliver in-school programming in all public school 5th grade classrooms, offer home school and military community youth based programs, participate in several Georgia 4-H events at the district and state levels, and offer leadership opportunities and life skill lessons for our older grade levels.

Project Achievement , Georgia 4-H's public speaking and presentation program, is the cornerstone of our programming and is promoted to all Camden County 4-H members. Through this and many other activities, youth discover their interests, build confidence, strengthen leadership abilities, and develop skills that prepare them for future success.

None of this would be possible without the support of our community and our dedicated team of screened volunteers. All funding and supplies to support our programs are obtained through user fees, donations, and sponsors.

Below are several options for donating or sponsoring specific Camden County 4-H programs:

  • Summer Camp Scholarship ($400 per youth)
  •  State Council Scholarship ($150 per youth)
  •  Jr. & Sr. District Project Achievement Scholarship ($150 per youth)
  • Designated Specialty Club Sponsor (any amount helps)
  •  Cloverleaf Project Achievement Sponsor (any amount helps)
  •  5th Grade Club Sponsor (any amount helps)

Donations help remove financial barriers to our programs by funding scholarships and offsetting program costs. Contributions may be used to support program expenses, operational needs, and the training and development of our youth, adult volunteers, and staff. Every donation helps us expand access, strengthen our programs, and better serve our community.

Camden County 4-H is a certified 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, and all donations are tax-deductible. Please contact our office at 912-576-3219 for tax deduction receipts, sponsorship and custom donation amounts, or other questions.

"To me 4-H means to help others around you and to build leadership skills for your future.  Also, to meet new people and make new friendships with people you share interests with. 4-H has helped me so much over the nearly six years I've been a part of it, this program has let me break out of my shell and helped me be more social, it has also helped me get so many new friends that I consider family. Along with the experiences I've had here, has helped shape me into the person I am now. 4-H is truly a part of me, and I genuinely love this program. "
