Give to UGA Extension and 4-H Youth in Madison County!

Madison County Extension/4-H relies heavily on community support and generous donors to make a difference in the lives of our youth and adults. As a non-profit organization, we depend on your support to continue to provide Madison County citizens with affordable educational experiences.

Madison County Extension is a strong, three-pronged organization with active program areas in 4-H Youth Development, Agriculture and Natural Resources, and Family and Consumer Sciences. These program areas provide education to youth and adults on a myriad of topics.

Please consider supporting our efforts to improve the community by providing research-based programs for youth and adults in agriculture, health and nutrition, leadership, and S.T.E.M.

You can use the portals below to make a gift online or print our donor form and send it with your gift to us at PO Box 68 | Danielsville, GA 30633. If you have any questions, please reach out to us by phone at 706-795-2281 or email at uge1191@uga.edu. We appreciate your support!

Each camp offers adventure, friendship, and fun, and all seek to develop the camper's Head, Heart, Hands, and Health to make him or her a better person.

Project Achievement

Georgia 4-H Project Achievement empowers young people with skills for a lifetime. Students choose a project area of interest, research the topic, and write and present a presentation. 4-H'ers develop leadership, creativity, public speaking, record keeping, and other skills. As students become older, a record keeping component that promotes independent thinking, research and implementation is added. Cloverleaf and Junior 4-H'ers (4th-8th graders), begin competition in their school or county and advance to the district level. Senior competitions (9th-12th grade) encourage youth to become more involved in their project areas and advance to the state and national levels.

Through research, training sessions, working with a group, and hand on experiences, participants work with a team to evaluate various aspects of their topics. Public speaking, decision making, critical thinking, and problem solving skills are just some of the valuable life skills that students gain from involvement in judging teams.
