Summer Activities for 2026
Registration is open from April 24th through May 22nd and can only be done online using our Madison County Summer Activities online form. All activities are based on the grade level your child is completing.
- Payment for activities is due on or before the deadline. After this date, we are unable to hold spots for unpaid registrants.
- All classes/trips will meet at the 4-H office unless noted otherwise.
- All classes are filled on a first come, first serve basis.
- For trips that involve swimming, modest bathing suits should be worn. Girls must wear a tankini or a one piece (a Georgia 4-H rule.)
- 4-H staff is NOT responsible for 4-H'ers personal belongings or money. *some events include lunch in the registration costs while others do not; that information will be included in the email sent before the event.
- If WE have to cancel a class/trip, we will send out an email and refunds for that event will be given.
If paying the registration fee for an activity presents a financial hardship for your family, please contact our office to discuss the options available.

Wahsega Fun Day
May 29 | 8:00am-5:00pm | Cost: $35 | 4th-8th graders
Limited to 10 participants. Lunch included in cost.
Kick off summer with an unforgettable adventure at Wahsega 4-H Center! From zip lining to swimming and hands-on classes, this full-day experience is packed with excitement, fresh air, and fun with friends.
Gwinnett Stripers Game
June 2 | 4:30pm-9:30pm | Cost: $20 | 6th-12th graders
Limited to 12 participants. Bring money for dinner.
Enjoy America’s favorite pastime with a trip to see the Gwinnett Stripers! Youth will have a blast cheering on the team and making memories under the stadium lights.
Mini Golf @ The Oaks
June 5 | 10:00am-3:30pm | Cost: $10 | 4th-12th graders
Limited to 12 participants. Bring money for lunch.
Putt your way through a fun-filled day at The Oaks Mini Golf course! This laid-back outing is perfect for friendly competition and lots of laughs.
Kayaking the Broad
June 18 | 9:00am-2:00pm | Cost: $40 | 6th-12th graders
Limited to 10 participants. Bring your own lunch.
Adventure awaits on the Broad River! Spend the day paddling, exploring nature, and enjoying the outdoors in this exciting kayaking experience.
State Council
June 26-28 | Cost: $100 | 8th-12th graders
Limited to 10 participants.
Join 4-H’ers from across the state for an inspiring weekend at State Council! This event is filled with leadership, teamwork, unforgettable experiences and the infamous Iron Clover!
Day @ the Safari
July 9 | 9:00am-1:30pm | Cost: $20 | 4th-12th graders
Limited to 12 participants. Bring money for lunch.
Get up close with amazing animals during this wild safari adventure! Youth will enjoy a unique, hands-on experience while learning about wildlife.
STEM Day Camp
July 14 | 9:30am-3:00pm | Cost: $15 | 4th-8th graders
Limited to 15 participants. Bring your own lunch.
Calling all curious minds! STEM Day Camp is packed with hands-on experiments, creative challenges, and engaging activities that make science, technology, engineering, and math come to life.
Ag Day Camp
July 15 | 9:30am-3:00pm | Cost: $15 | 4th-8th graders

Dig into the world of agriculture! From animals to crops, this camp offers a fun and interactive way to learn about where our food comes from and the importance of agriculture.
Healthy Living Day Camp

Focus on wellness, nutrition, and active living at this energizing day camp! Youth will learn healthy habits and cooking food from scratch while having fun through games, activities, and teamwork.
Lake Tailgate
August 3 | 9:30am-4:00pm | Cost: $20 | 6th-12th graders
Limited to 10 participants. Lunch is included in cost.
Wrap up summer with a relaxing and fun day at the lake! Enjoy games, good food, and time with friends in a laid-back outdoor setting—lunch is included.
Teen Leader Training
August 5 | 9:30am-4:30pm | Cost: $15 | 7th-12th graders
Limited to 15 participants. Lunch is included in cost.
Step into leadership and build valuable skills at Teen Leader Training! This engaging day helps youth grow in confidence, communication, and teamwork while preparing to lead and serve.
