Summer Activities

Summer Activities for 2025

If you are interested in any of the activities we have planned for the summer, email michaela.brown@uga.edu or call our office at 706-795-2281 to sign up! You can always register in person at 97 Sunset Drive in Danielsville. Events range in cost from FREE-$50!

Registration open from May 13-June 6.

Payment for activities is due on or before the deadline. After this date, we are unable to hold spots for unpaid registrants.

Kayaking the Broad

June 17th - Cost: $50 - rising 7th-12th graders

Limited to 10 participants. Lunch included in cost.


Teen Leader Training

June 24th - Cost: $15 - rising 7th-12th graders

This training will allow 4-H'ers to become certified teen leaders, allowing them to help at county, district, or state events.


Day Camps

Ag Day Camp

July 15 - Cost: $15 -  rising 4th-12th graders

This day camp is day 1 of 2 where we'll be focusing on the agriculture industry.

Healthy Living Day Camp

July 16 - Cost: $20 - rising 4th-12th graders

This day camp is day 2 of 2 where we'll be focusing on food safety and healthy living.

*you can register for one or both but we do have a limit of 15 participants for each day


Camp DPA

July 18th - Cost: $FREE - rising 7th-12th graders

This day will be used for 4-H'ers to get a head start on their DPA projects & portfolios for the coming year.


Shooting Sports Invitational

July 27th - Cost: $10 - rising 4th-12th graders

Come learn more about Georgia 4-H's S.A.F.E. Shooting Sports. This event takes place at Valley View Gun Club at 1549 Veterans Drive in Danielsville.


Lake Tailgate

July 28th - Cost: $30 - rising 4th-12th graders

We'll end our summer with a chill lake day and tailgate at Lake Russell. Limited to 15 participants.
