Due to the Public Health Emergency Protocol enacted by the CEO of DeKalb County, all DeKalb County government buildings are closed to the general public, DeKalb County Extension employees are working remotely, and available to serve the needs of DeKalb residents via email or website. Feel free to contact Fresh on DeK at Freshondek@DekalbCountyGA.gov for all Fresh on DeK related questions.
Fresh on DeK, the DeKalb County Mobile Market, was created to educate residents living in communities designated as “food deserts” on the importance of healthy living and fresh, in-season produce. We are able to bring education and fresh produce to food deserts around DeKalb County- by doing this we are aiming to create a healthier community in DeKalb!
Fresh on DeK is made possible with funding from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, DeKalb County Government, DeKalb County Board of Health and UGA Cooperative Extension.
The Fresh on DeK season lasts for 16 weeks from June-September.
