9th - 12th Grade
Senior Project Achievement
Senior 4-H'ers are invited to spend a weekend at Rock Eagle to compete in District Project Achievement (DPA). To attend, 4-H'ers must first turn in a portfolio, worth 50% of their total score, detailing their relevant project work and other activities competed during the previous calendar year. Next, 4-H'ers will prepare a 10 - 12 minute long speech, worth 50% of their total score, with visual aids to present to their peers and to judges during the competition in March.
First place Senior 4-H'ers are invited to attend and compete at State Congress in Atlanta, Georgia, in July. Seniors will compete with the top competitors from all four districts in Georgia, take an educational tour somewhere in the city, and put their table manners to the test while dining at various banquets throughout the week.
Visit the Georgia 4-H website for additional information regarding current Senior DPA projects for the current 4-H program year.
