MIDDLE SCHOOL 4-H

Grow With 4-H!

We make learning fun!  Quiz bowl teams, judging team, project activities and community service are all fun events and programs planned for 6th - 8th graders. 

You  are invited to join 4-H!  Junior 4-H'ers have the opportunity to travel across the state, attend conferences and rallies, compete in exciting events, and much more!

We would love to have you involved in our program!  

Where We Meet

Meetings are held after school at the Extension Office. Transportation can be provided from school (Oconee Middle School and Westminster Christian Academy only), if requested.


Junior Conference

6th, 7th, and 8th grade 4-H'ers are invited to Junior Conference at Rock Eagle in November each year. 4-H'ers will get to meet new friends, do service projects, attend workshops, attend an exhibit fair, have a dance, and see Clovers & Company perform. 


Junior Rally

6th, 7th, and 8th grade 4-H'ers are invited to Junior Rally at Wahsega 4-H Center in April each year. Middle school 4-H'ers from Northeast and Northwest districts will gather to catch up with friends, take part in ropes courses, perform in a talent show, dance, make s'mores, do service projects, slide down the falls, take interesting classes, and participate in the annual glow-in-the-dark Easter Egg Hunt! 


6th Grade DPA

Sixth graders invited to Cloverleaf DPA at Rock Eagle to compete at Project Achievement. No need to compete in CPA or SPA Day to qualify!   Contact the 4-H office to sign up for your project.  First come, first serve.  Claim your project today!


Junior DPA

Project Achievement is one of the most prominent 4-H competitions. It helps 4-H'ers develop both oral and written communication skills while giving them the opportunity to investigate or research a topic of their interest. 4-H'ers will spend a weekend at Rock Eagle  competing against other 4-H'ers from the Northeast district.
