Summer Camp

Summer Camp 2024

Georgia 4-H offers five-day, four-night summer camps for 4-H'ers of all ages. These camps are held at one of the 4-H Centers in Georgia, Burton 4-H Center on Tybee Island, Fortson 4-H Center (Hampton, GA), Rock Eagle 4-H Center (Eatonton, GA) and Wahsega 4-H Center (Dahlonega, GA) — and Georgia 4-H at Camp Jekyll. Each camp provides fun, friendship, and exciting activities for everyone.

If you're looking for a camp that is packed with outdoor adventures such as swimming, canoeing, archery and hiking or just a fun week to be with your friends, look no further!  Our 2024 4-H summer camp dates are here.

 

                                                                                                    2024 4-H Summer Camp Dates

Cloverleaf Campers (4th-6th graders in the 2023-2024 school year) will be attending camp at Rock Eagle from June 24-28th.

Junior Campers (7th-8th graders in the 2023-2024 school year) will be attending camp at Burton 4-H Center on Tybee Island from June 3-7th.

 

Senior Campers (9th-12th graders in the 2023-2024 school year) camp information TBD.

 

Senior Extreme Campers (9th-12th graders in the 2023-2024 school year) will be attending a more primitive camp at Fitch Pioneer Camp at Rock Eagle from June 10-14th.

 

 


fileCloverleaf Camp Volunteers Needed I know we just got into the first of the year but we’re already preparing for the summer and camp! We will be going to Cloverleaf Camp at Rock Eagle June 24-28! We always need volunteers so if you have any interest in being a volunteer for camp please let me know. For camp, our volunteers go for free and as a volunteer, your role at camp will be: • Supervision of youth on the buses, at camp in cabins, and during camp class assignments • Assistance with check-in and check-out • Being a positive role model! • HAVE FUN! Camp is not possible without the help of awesome volunteers! If you plan to pay with credit card on camp sign-up day, please go ahead and create an account here: https://register.extension.uga.edu/ Please see attached for directions of setting up an account.
This will not guarantee your child a spot but it will help with quicker registration day of.
You must have your phone on registration day to pay with credit card.
This is a new process so please extend patience as we are learning this new system.
