ServSafe® Food Handler Certification Training
ServSafe® is a nationally recognized program developed by the Educational Foundation of The National Restaurant Association for food service workers in restaurant, school, hospital and other food service settings. Upon completion of this course, participants will received a certificate that is widely recognized and accepted by the majority of local and state jurisdictions that require food service safety training.
The fee for this ServSafe® course is $150 which includes instruction, the course book, exam booklet, and administration of the test. Upon request the text book is available in select languages other than English. Apr 7 ServSafe ® Employee Food Handler Training ServSafe® Food Handler training is designed for individuals in food handler employee-level positions and verifies basic food safety knowledge. The training includes a participant workbook and covers content such as personal hygiene, preventing cross-contamination, food allergies, proper cleaning and sanitizing, and time and temperature control for safety. Certification is valid for three years following the successful completion of the training and exam. Registration is $35 per participant. To register, contact the UGA Extension Candler County Extension Office at 912-685-2408. Deadline to register is April 1. Class held at the Georgia Grown Innovation Center in Metter, GA.
