Event and Activity Registration
Below is a listing of our upcoming 4-H activities, events, contests and deadlines. All event and activity registration requires enrollment in 4-H. Detailed information regarding required forms and enrollment located in the Enrollment and Forms section. | Ongoing | Cloverbud Teen Leader | 6th-12th | Extension office | Teen Leaders are needed for Cloverbud programs throughout the year. Cloverbuds is a STEAM program for children in kindergarten - 3rd grade. We meet at the Extension office from 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm. | Ongoing | County Council | 4th-12th | Extension office | 4-H’ers 4th-12th grade meet once a month to enjoy peer led activities and community service. Officers plan and lead each club meeting. This is also a great way to learn about upcoming local, district, and state events and competitions. Activities that we have done for County Council include a luggage collection for foster children, decorating lunch bags for MUST Ministries, international night, talent shows, costume contests, and much more! Meetings are 6:30-8pm at the Extension Office.

| Ongoing | Horseology | 4th-12th | Extension office | The Cobb County 4-H Horse and Pony Club is looking for new members! You do not have to own a horse or a pony to be a member of this club. Open to 4th-12th grade students. Meetings are held monthly from 6:30pm-8:00pm at the Extension Office located at 678 South Cobb Drive Marietta, GA 30060. Club dues are $20 for the year.

| Septeber 21, 2026 | Certified Teen Leader Training | 7th-12th | Extension office | This training is designed for 4-H’ers in grades 7–12 who are interested in developing their leadership, communication, conflict management, and mentoring skills. Participants will also learn how to effectively engage and lead younger 4-H’ers while gaining a better understanding of the roles and responsibilities of a Teen Leader. If you are already certified, there is no need to attend this training. Certified Teen Leaders may have opportunities to assist county, district, and state 4-H staff by leading workshops, mentoring youth, and supporting events such as Project Achievement, Junior Conference, Fall Forum, Summer Camps and activities . Teen Leader Training will be held on September 21 from 9:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. The cost is $25, and lunch will be provided.
