Cherokee County 4-H BB Team
BB Team: Cherokee County 4-H BB Team will begin practices in October.
Cherokee County 4-H BB and air rifle teams are a part of the Georgia 4-H project SAFE (Shooting Awareness, Fun and Education) program. Project SAFE provides youth a place to develop a sense of belonging, learn teamwork in a safe environment and increase concentration skills. Safety and responsible use of firearms is a primary goal. Trained volunteers lead the both teams.
The BB team is open to 4-H'ers who are 9 years old or older and in 4th-8th grades, and air rifle is open to 9th-12th grade 4-H'ers. Practices will be held on Thursday nights from 6-8pm at Union Hill Community Center (1780 AJ Land Road, Canton, GA 30115).
