4-H Camp
Cloverleaf Camp:
Most students attending Cloverleaf Camp have completed the fifth or sixth grade; however, at their discretion counties may choose to allow campers who have completed the fourth grade to attend Cloverleaf Camp. ALL Cloverleaf campers must be 9 years old on or before their first day of camp.
- Cloverleaf Campers will experience these fun and memorable hands-on activities led by enthusiastic and knowledgeable counselors:
- Pond and falls swimming time
- Night recreation (arts & crafts, sports, games with counselors)
- Family groups campfire and friendly challenge throughout the week
- High ropes (zipline, rock climbing wall, flying squirrel) -enjoy Wahsega’s high ropes program
- Bear hunt-hunt for the counselors
- Archery-learn about bows, shooting techniques and following commands
- Herpetology-campers get to touch and hold non-venomous snakes, turtles and other reptiles
- Survival skills-set up a survival camp and learn the basic needs of survival
- Stream ecology-recognize life stages of aquatic animals that live in the Wahsega stream
- Forest ecology-learn about trees native to Georgia and how to identify them
- Talent show-which camper will win the talent show for the week?
- Water games-crazy games, lots of fun and water!



Marine Resource Camp:
This camp is for 7th and 8th graders who have qualified with other 4-H activites. We have limited spots for this camp each year. During this camp week you may participate in:
- Beach Ecology
- Marsh Cruise and Trawl
- Tybee Time
- Crabs and Critters
- Shark Dissection
- Talent Show
- Swimming
Wilderness Camp:
This camp is open to 7th and 8th graders who have qualified with prior 4-H events. We have limited spots for this camp each year.
What activites might you enjoy while at camp?
- Whitewater rafting on Tennessee’s Ocoee River
- All the high ropes activities Wahsega has to offer: Zip line, flying squirrel and climbing wall
- Classes at Wahsega especially developed for Wilderness Challenge Camp such as fire building, campfire cooking, hike to an amazing waterfall and swim, shelters and knots, land navigation, wilderness first aid and more..
- Night recreation with dancing and outdoor sports with the 4-H counselors
- Fun times hanging out with new friends at Wahsega
- Great food in the Wahsega dining hall


Junior Camp
This camp is open to 7th and 8th graders who have qualified with 4-H activites throughout the year. We have limited spaces available each year.

- Cheer on your Color Crew leaders in the Variety Show
- Enjoy Pool Time in our newly renovated pool
- Basketball, 4-Square, gaga ball, games & more during Free Time
- Soar down the Zip Line & get to the top of the Climbing Wall to ring the bell
Senior Camp and Senior Extreme Camp:
These camps are open to 9th-12th graders who have previously qualified with other 4-H activities throughout the year. We have limited spaces available each year.
What activities are offered at camp?
Senior Camp’s activities provide learning experiences in all of Georgia 4-H’s focus areas – Healthy Living, Agriculture and STEM, and Civic Engagement – promote the development of leadership skills, and encourage community service, all in a fun and active camping environment.
