Story in Brief

Coweta County's population growth is placing an ever-increasing strain on our water supply. Water conservation is essential and involves a lifestyle change. The UGA Cooperative Extension office continues to be a primary source of water related educational materials. Coweta County Extension promotes water conservation through Rivers Alive, workshops, classes, gardening programs, and displays. Through the efforts of Coweta County Extension, Coweta County residents now have a better understanding of practices that can improve water conservation and storm water reduction.
