Vegetable Planting Dates

Choosing when to plant vegetables often revolves around temperature monitoring, particularly frost monitoring. Generally, the spring garden is planted soon after the last frost of the year. In Glynn County, the last frost usually occurs around the end of February. Use the Georgia Weather - Automated Environmental Monitoring Network to view all the Glynn County climate data you need to decide when to plant. Planting dates, however, will vary depending on how you grow the plants and what plants you want to grow. Use the UGA Vegetable Gardening Chart below for further guidance.
