Family & Consumer Sciences

 UGA Family and Consumer Sciences outreach, resources, and programs help improve the quality of life for individuals and families in Georgia. We provide training, disseminate research-based publications, and link families, businesses and communities to university faculty and resources. The Glynn County Family and Consumer Sciences Agent focuses on providing education to community members through the following topics:

  • Stress Management and Well-being
  • Chronic Disease Prevention and Management 
  • Financial Security and Economic Well-Being
  • Food Safety 
  • Housing and Environmental Health and Safety
