The Georgia 4-H Livestock Program offers extraordinary educational opportunities in programs that challenge 4-Hers with real-life issues as they learn responsibility through raising, showing, and judging livestock. Livestock projects give students the opportunity to practice and acquire new knowledge in the fields of animal science, business, time management and leadership.

The Forsyth County Goat Show Team meets at Brecht Stables in Cumming. During meetings, youth learn about caring for their goats, equipment, and how to show their animals. Youth have the opportunity to participate in shows across North Georgia as well as the state shows in Perry. Since this is a show team, youth are required to own their own goat and equipment to participate.
