Description

Starting Friday, August 7, 2026, from 5-6 p.m. UGA Extension Forsyth County is excited to announce a new educational program: A Taste of Wellness at the Halcyon in Alpharetta. This 12-week nutrition and physical activity program utilizes the Big Creek Greenway for scenic, shaded walks and ends right in the heart of Halcyon. Guided by FACS Agent and nutrition expert Dr. Roshan Ramlal, this program is designed to help you lose/maintain weight, de-stress, and tweak your diet to align with your health goals (and yes, leashed pups are welcome!). Cost $0. Minors must be accompanied by an adult. Register to attend by calling 770-887-2418. Bring a water bottle.
