The Georgia Master Naturalist Program is a hands-on environmental education course that explores Georgia's habitats and ecosystems and the human impacts on these environments. This 9-week program consists of weekly field trips with in-depth lectures from experts on a variety of environmental and ecological topics. Transportation can be arranged for limited number of participants from one of the three host counties. The program days are from 9:00am to 4:00pm, not including drive time. Registration is complete once you have completed the online application and paid the fee in full through the Cobb County Extension Office. Space is limited and registration will remain open until August 12 or when all spaces are filled. You can mark your calendar for these program dates:August 27-Master Naturalist Orientation, Fridays in September: September 11, September 18, September 25. Thursdays in October: October 1, October 8, October 15, October 22, October 29-30-Overnight-Charlie Elliott Wildlife Center
