Ready to jump into homesteading? Join us at UGA Greene County Extension for Homesteading 101, a hands-on learning experience led by UGA Extension specialists, Monte Stephens and Allison Bailey. Learn garden planning/harvesting your home-grown vegetables/herbs. Gather resources for backyard flocks, bee pollination and foraging. Discover methods for safely preserving and storing food. Harness your love for baking, canning, and creating cottage foods made in your own kitchen.
$25 registration fee covers lunch and classes for both days. Call 706-453-4083 to reserve your spot. Let’s grow, preserve, and create together.
