Join us and our Fayette County Master Gardener Extension Volunteers (MGEVs), Mary Ruth Boman and Charlane Hemphill, for this hands-on event to explore the world of our native solitary bees! You will learn about their nesting behaviors and what materials they use, leaving with a greater understanding of the importance of these essential pollinators.Each participant will learn about our native bees and create a native bee hotel to take home (including the pole)! Come dressed for this event. Please bring a drill and a drill bit between 5/16-3/8 of an inch. Only 20 spots available. Cost is $12.
