Athens Area Honey Bee Festival

Description

The Athens-Area Honey Bee Festival was held for the first time in May of 2024 and welcomed a huge crowd from Athens and beyond! Featured at the festival were honey and craft vendors, family activities, and loads of opportunities to interact with bees and honey! Participants were given the chance to suit up and work the hives, watch a live demonstration of honey-extraction, and enjoy a tasting show of local honeys! Photo booths, games, snacks, plant sales, live music and more were all part of the festivities!

The 2025 Athens Honey Bee Festival will take place on May 24th, 2025, and will be bigger and better than ever!
