Description

ServSafe® Food Handler training is designed for individuals in food handler employee-level positions and verifies basic food safety knowledge. The training includes a participant workbook and covers content such as personal hygiene, preventing cross-contamination, food allergies, proper cleaning and sanitizing, and time and temperature control for safety. Certification is valid for three years following the successful completion of the training and exam. Registration is $35 per participant. To register, contact the UGA Extension Candler County Extension Office at 912-685-2408. Deadline to register is April 1. Class held at the Georgia Grown Innovation Center in Metter, GA.
