Jul 8 - Jul 9 ServSafe Manager Training Georgia Cooperative Extension provides Georgia’s food service industry with food safety training using the National and Georgia Restaurant Associations ServSafe® Manager program. The ServSafe® Manager training includes the latest textbook, study materials, exam session, light refreshments, and 1 ½ days of training and review leading up to testing. The cost is $150.00 per person. Registration is required. Textbooks will be available for pick-up at time of registration at the Extension Office. Jul 11 Water Bath Canning Class - Tomato Salsa Rockdale County Extension is holding six canning classes this year! These are hands-on workshops where you will learn the principles of safe food preservation and where to find tested recipes, as well as work in groups to complete all the steps to preserve the featured food.
