4-H Clubs

The Douglas County 4-H Club assist youth in acquiring knowledge, developing life skills, and forming attitudes that will enable them to become self-directing, productive and contributing members of society.

This is accomplished through “hands on” learning experiences, focused on agricultural and environmental issues, agriculture awareness, leadership, communication skills, foods and nutrition, health, energy conservation, and citizenship. All clubs meet once a month.

To join and participate in the Douglas County 4-H Club, 4-Her's must complete and submit an Enrollment Card and Code of Conduct

Home School Club

Meets on the First Friday of Each Month from 3pm-5pm. Meetings are held at the UGA 4-H Extension Office unless otherwise noted.

Middle & High School Club

Meets on the Third Tuesday of Each Month from 6pm - 7:30pm. Open to all current 7th grade to 12th grade 4-H’ers. Meetings are held at the UGA 4-H Extension Office. Some meetings may be held offsite (Notice will always be given in advance). 

 

    

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

  


Shotgun Club & Team

(Modified & Trap/Skeet)

Will commence at the beginning of the year with an Interest meeting in February followed by the first practice in March. Practices are every Tuesday and Thursday from 4pm until Dark at the range in 1701 Wortham Rd, Douglasville, GA. Annual Dues: Modified $200  -  Trap/Skeet $400

 

*One parent or guardian of each shooter are required to submit UGA Extension Volunteer Agreement form to assist at practices, fundraisers, or matches. 4-Her's are not required to have a Shotgun to participate.

Cloverleaf Kitchen - 4th-6th Grades

Cloverleaf Kitchen meets at the Douglas County Extension Office on the last Tuesday of each month from 6-7:30 pm.  $55 for 7 meetings.
