Master Gardener Program
MGEV Resources
Do you have an interest in horticulture and enjoy giving back to your community?
Our purpose for the class is to recruit volunteers for the Headwaters Master Gardener Chapter. This group is made up of volunteers from Habersham, Rabun and White Counties. Volunteers will assist with a variety of community service projects during the course of the year. Remember in order to become a Georgia Master Gardener Volunteer you must complete a total of 50 years during the first year, and then 25 each year thereafter. ALL participants must complete the UGA Background Investigation volunteer screening process to participate. Registration is typically hosted in January each year, with the classes running from March to May on Tuesdays during the day. We are currently building interest for a 2023 class.
