Jan 28 2026 North Georgia Apple Grower's Production Meeting Ellijay, GA - (58.0 miles) This meeting is intended for those involved in commercial apple production. We will have UGA Extension specialists Drs. Phil Brannen, Tom Kon, Wayne Mitchem, and Brett Blaauw. The event will be at the Gilmer county library (268 Calvin Jackson St, Ellijay GA). The course is approved for GA pesticide license credits and certified crop advisor credits. Register by calling Gilmer County Extension at 706-635-4426. The event is free to attend and lunch will be provided to those register by January 21, 2026.
Jan 30 Make-and-Take Bluebird House Workshop Eastanollee, GA - (22.0 miles) Join us for a hands-on and informative morning as we build and paint bluebird nest boxes. The event will include an informational presentation on the role of songbirds in integrated pest management and how to invite them to your garden or lawn.
