Master Naturalist training is offered in the fall in middle Georgia as an 8-week course. The Georgia Master Naturalist program was developed by the University of Georgia Cooperative Extension and the Warnell School of Forest and Natural Resources as an adult environmental education program.
A variety of venues offer attendees the opportunity for behind-the-scenes looks at places that effect the community's life, such as water quality, wildlife, waste management, agriculture & forestry. In addition to field trips, course content will be taught by speakers who are subject experts in their fields, including university professors and natural resources professionals.
