  • Cotton Boll/Consumer Judging Team Practices begin September 24!    Cotton Boll is open to youth in 4th-12th grade and teaches important decision making skills to be a savvy consumer.  For more information, contact Laurie Murrah-Hanson at laurs@uga.edu.

  • Fulton Fresh Kids Cooking Competition - October 21    Join us at Piedmont Park as Atlanta's youngest chefs show off their cooking chops at our second youth cooking competition!  The contest is open to youth in 4th-6th grade.  Families and children of all ages are invited to come watch the competition and decorate a pumpkin at our booth during the Green Market at Piedmont Park.   • Junior Conference - November 4-5    Calling all middle school students - this leadership conference is just for you! Open to 6th-8th graders, Junior Conference is a weekend of fun, learning and friendship. Check out the details on our Events page.
  • Fulton Fresh 4-H Club Meeting - November 11   Our newest special interest club teaches about gardening, agriculture, health, nutrition, and cooking. Our November meeting will include 4-H Yoga and smoothies! Open to youth in 3rd-8th grade. For more information, contact Laurie Murrah-Hanson at laurs@uga.edu.

  • AHC 4-H Community Club Meeting - November 19   The Atlanta History Center 4-H Community Club meets once a month for learning, friendship and fun!  This free club is open to youth in K-12th grade.  For more information, contact Laurie Murrah-Hanson at laurs@uga.edu.

  • Fulton County 4-H STEM at Spruill Oaks Library - August through December 2017     Fulton County 4-H is hosting a fall STEM series in partnership with the Spruill Oaks Library.  Program dates are August 21 (Solar Eclipse Extravaganza), September 19 (Catapult Challenge), October 17 (Disease Detectives), November 28 (Adventures in Architecture), and December 19 (Beach Bash: Barrier Islands).  Open to 3rd-5th grade youth.  Programs are free, but pre-registration is required. Please contact Laura Hoefener at laura.hoefener@fultoncountyga.gov to register.

  • There are several 4-H contests currently accepting entries including the UGA Radon Poster Contest and Bullying Prevention Essay Contest.  See details and entry information on our Contest page.
