4‑H is America’s largest youth development organization—empowering nearly six million young people with the skills to lead for a lifetime.

WHITFIELD COUNTY 4-H WORKS WITH STUDENTS AGES 8-18.

Our Mission
To assist youth in acquiring knowledge, developing life skills, and forming attitudes that will enable them to become self-directing, productive and contributing members of society. This mission is accomplished, through "hands on" learning experiences. As a program of UGA Extension, 4-H is part of the nationwide Extension network.

"4-H is a world in which youth and adults learn, grow, and work together as catalysts for positive change!"

HOW DO I JOIN?

Membership is FREE! Students must simply have the following forms on file:
Membership Card   (one per year)      
Code of Conduct     (one per year)
Medical Release Form (English)/(Spanish) (one per event)

Turn in your forms and sign up for the various competitive teams, events/conferences, and camps at the Whitfield County 4-H office!

4-H Volunteers

Volunteers throughout Georgia support our mission of assisting youth in acquiring knowledge, developing life skills and forming attitudes that will enable them to become self-directing, productive and contributing citizens.

Currently, Whitfield County 4-H has five Certified 4-H Volunteers.
They help with camps, competitions, special events, and more!

Additional volunteers are needed to expand our programs!
