WHAT IS 4‑H?

4‑H is America’s largest youth development organization—empowering nearly six million young people with the skills to lead for a lifetime.

Whitfield County 4-H offers programs in-school and after-school for all students ages 8-18.

Our Mission
To assist youth in acquiring knowledge, developing life skills, and forming attitudes that will enable them to become self-directing, productive and contributing members of society.

This mission is accomplished through "hands on" learning experiences. As a program of University of Georgia (UGA) Extension, 4-H is part of the nationwide Extension network.
