How do I join?
Contact the Whitfield County Extension/4-H at 706-278-8207 or visit us at 104 S Thornton Ave. Fill out a Membership card, sign a Code of Conduct, and complete a Medical Release Form (English)/(Spanish) for each event you plan to attend.
Membership guidelines for students: Any person, regardless of race, color, national origin, gender, or disability may enroll as a 4-H member.
Youth who are nine years of age and have not reached their nineteenth birthday on or before January 1, of the current year may enroll in 4-H clubs and groups.
University of Georgia faulty/staff encourage you to pursue involvement in 4-H as you will have access to a world of opportunities.
Adult Volunteer leaders are welcome and needed in all county programs. A registration form and certification process is available in all county
To assist youth in acquiring knowledge, developing life skills, and forming attitudes that will enable them to become self-directing, productive and contributing members of society. This mission is accomplished, through "hands on" learning experiences. As a program of UGA Extension, 4-H is part of the nationwide Extension network.
